About The Plaster Boyz
The Plaster Boyz is a plastering business in Brighton and Hove run by Terry, the owner. The business has been trading for over 25 years and carries out skimming, float and set plastering, solid plastering and rendering. It investigates and treats damp issues, including rising damp, penetrating damp and atmospheric damp. The services listed include full and partial refurbishments, extensions, garage conversions, decorating, tiling, kitchen and bathroom refits and garden projects. The business designs and creates bespoke features such as shelving in bathroom walls, TV units and chimney work.
The Plaster Boyz covers Brighton and Hove. Work begins with a visit to discuss the project and understand the client's vision. The business uses sand and cement rendering, tried and tested for hundreds of years. For artex ceilings, the business either plasters over the pattern or overboards before plastering, depending on the condition and whether asbestos is present. Larger projects such as extensions, loft conversions and full house refurbishments are undertaken from start to finish, and specialist trades such as gas works and electrics are brought in when needed.
The Plaster Boyz is fully insured and uses eco-friendly products wherever possible. Waste is sent to recycling companies to avoid landfill. The business works in partnership with clients throughout each project and takes on projects where it can deliver the desired finish.
