About PRESTIGE RENDERING & PLASTERING SERVICES
Prestige Rendering & Plastering Services is a rendering and plastering business in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, founded in 1998 and covering Hertfordshire and the surrounding regions. It describes itself as having begun as a small family-run service, and it works for homeowners, builders and contractors on residential and commercial projects.
Prestige offers silicone render systems, monocouche render, Corksol spray cork render, self-levelling screed and lime plastering. The silicone systems use a 6mm alkaline mesh reinforced, polymer modified cement basecoat, finished with silicone paint or a textured silicone in grain sizes from 0.5mm up to 3mm, with 1.5mm the most common. They are applied by hand or sprayed, in many colours. Coloured scratch-through render is applied in two passes with a fibreglass reinforced mesh embedded in the first. Spray cork render is an exterior wall coating made with cork. Self-levelling screed is machine applied to level uneven subfloors before final floor finishes. Internal lime plaster is used on walls and ceilings, particularly in older buildings and historic restorations.
Work starts with an appointment and a free consultation, followed by a visit to the property, an explanation of the options and a clear quote.
