About Ocean Plastering
Ocean Plastering is a plastering business based in Wembury, Plymouth, with 15 years of trade experience in domestic and commercial properties. The services listed are internal skimming, external rendering, lime plastering, heritage restoration, dry lining, and repairs to internal and external moulding. The business also covers Artex ceiling removal and replacement with new plasterboard.
Ocean Plastering works across Plymouth and the surrounding areas. Jobs begin with a visit to discuss the project and provide a written quotation. Surfaces are prepared with careful taping of edges, and fixtures are protected throughout. Floor protection and dust sheets are brought to each job. The business is an approved applicator for Baumit and Fassa Bortolo materials.
The business specialises in heritage restoration and lime plastering for older buildings, including the replication of period decorative features such as running moulds and decorative ceiling roses made on site. Domestic work ranges from single-room skimming to complete property refurbishment, and commercial projects are undertaken for developments. The business holds full public liability insurance for private and commercial work. Plaster generally takes between 2 to 5 days to dry, turning from dark brown to light pink, depending on room ventilation and temperature.
