About Wirral Plastering
Wirral Plastering is a plastering and rendering business based in Birkenhead, run as a main contractor across the Wirral peninsula. It carries out skimming, plastering walls back to a flat finish, ceiling work on lath and plaster, plasterboard and artex ceilings, plasterboarding and dry lining, external rendering in sand and cement or through coloured systems, K Rend and silicone render, render repairs, pebbledash removal, lime plaster and lime render for solid walls and conservation work, replastering after damp treatment, artex removal by covering, and polished and venetian plaster finishes.
The business covers Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bebington, Bromborough, Heswall, West Kirby, Hoylake, Caldy, Greasby, Irby, Meols and Moreton. One person quotes each job and one person is answerable for it, with customers receiving a written scope and a date. Work begins with a tap test of walls and ceilings to determine whether plaster or render is sound or hollow, as this decides whether a patch, skim or full strip is needed. Floors and anything staying in the room are covered before work starts, and waste goes with the business. Damp proofing, stone repair and structural work are other trades, and Wirral Plastering will tell customers when a job needs somebody else first. The business is open Monday to Friday 8 to 6 and Saturday 8 to 2.
