About Wheatley Plasterwork Ltd
Wheatley Plasterwork Ltd is a plasterwork company based in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with a workshop and factory in the county. It was established in 1949 by Albert Wheatley in Bath and is now owned by his son Richard. It works for homeowners and businesses across England, and employs a small team of craftsmen who take projects from start to finish, crafting moulds, creating ornamental pieces and installing them.
The company produces and installs ornamental plasterwork, including cornices, plaques, niches, dado rails, ceiling centres and roses, columns, archways, coving, pilasters, panel mouldings and corbels. It also offers decorative product reproduction and style matching, plasterwork repairs and restoration, design support and advice, and a supply-only service for architectural mouldings. Everything it installs is handmade by its own craftsmen at its workshops.
Wheatley Plasterwork also offers a lime plastering service, and its website describes its work as suited to listed and heritage buildings, with pieces ranging from Regency plaques to traditional Victorian designs.
