About The Plasterwork Studio
The Plasterwork Studio is a decorative plastering business in Southend-on-Sea run by Graham Cole, an artisan plasterer and director. The studio makes and installs interior and exterior castings and plasterwork in stone, plaster, GRG, Jesmonite and other specialist finishes. Services include decorative mouldings, architectural detailing, ornamental enrichments, ceiling roses, wall plaques and dado rails. The business supplies off-the-shelf mouldings from its stock collection, manufactures bespoke designs, and carries out restoration work including matching existing plasterwork, reinstatement, repair and replacement.
Work is carried out in-house and on site. The Plasterwork Studio holds a showroom and original Victorian workshop where customers can visit to see the collection and observe how products are made. Graham Cole has worked as a decorative, plain and ornamental plasterer for over fifty years. Installation, fixing and finishing of plaster mouldings are provided as part of the service. Cornice and coving, ceiling roses, wall panelling, mantelpieces, decorative plaques, busts, figures, ornate brackets, corbels and enrichments are made to order. The business works for designers, architects and builders, and serves homeowners on renovation and restoration projects. The studio is open Monday to Friday by appointment.
