About Tavistock Plastering Services
Tavistock Plastering Services is a family-owned plastering business based in Tavistock and covering surrounding areas within roughly a one-hour radius, including Plymouth, Launceston, Callington, Okehampton, Camelford and Bodmin. It is fully insured and offers free estimates and advice.
The business was founded by Gareth Hawke, a self-taught plasterer who began 25 years ago. Its team describes a combined 75 years of experience in the plastering trade.
Services listed are internal plastering, external sand and cement rendering, lime plastering, plaster boarding, and general building. Lime plastering is described as suited to period properties and listed buildings, and also to new builds because of its breathability and flexibility. It covers internal walls, ceilings and external rendering, with the approach matched to the age of the building, the underlying materials and the finish wanted. Its services page lists lime plastering, rendering, plastering and general building. The business works on both period properties and modern builds, adapting its skills and products to each project.
