About Strutton Lime Plastering
Strutton Lime Plastering is a plastering and damp proofing business based in Stowmarket, run by Peter Strutton. It carries out interior lime plastering and exterior lime rendering, timber preservation and damp proofing for residential and commercial properties. The business also undertakes complete restoration of listed buildings and simple repairs to walls and ceilings.
Lime plastering work uses traditionally mixed materials and lime putty matured for over four months, applied by traditional methods. Damp proofing systems address rising damp in walls of all thicknesses, from 112mm to 460mm, using hand injection with water-based products and the trimotic electrical system. Complete tanking of walls is available for below-ground and basement conversions. Internal plastering follows damp proofing where needed. Maintenance programmes are available for lime plastering.
The business covers Suffolk. Peter Strutton has over 15 years' experience in lime plastering and damp proofing. Work begins with a visit to discuss the property and requirements, and a specification of works is provided on smaller projects, with a JCT contract on larger ones. Payment methods can be arranged to suit budgets on larger projects.
