About Shortland Plastering
Shortland Plastering is a plastering business in Craigavon run by Richard Shortland. It carries out re-skimming, repair and restoration work, new-build plastering and plasterboard installation. Richard has been established for over 25 years and holds an NVQ level 3 qualification. He was introduced to the construction industry by his father, who was a builder in the Co.Down area.
The business works in Co.Armagh and Co.Down in Northern Ireland. Jobs include skimming over old plaster, repairing damaged ceilings and walls, and plastering new-build properties. Plasterboard installation is a listed service. Richard also carries out restoration work on older buildings. Work begins with a visit to assess the property and discuss the job. Plaster is finished to a smooth surface ready for decoration, and coving is fitted on request. The business handles replastering of houses that have been rewired or had walls tracked, and repairs to ceilings and walls in halls, stairs and landings.
