About RJB Interiors
RJB Interiors is a plastering and interior fit-out business based in Wickford, established in 2014 by directors Russell Barker and Matthew Kirby. The business carries out drylining, loadbearing Steel Framing Systems (SFS) including bolted frames and Tek-built extensions, SFS infill and oversail work, suspended and grid ceilings, and external rendering with insulated render systems, monocouche and acrylic finishes.
RJB Interiors works across education, commercial, residential and healthcare sectors. Recent projects include Shinfield Studios, a £6,000,000 commercial fit-out involving drylining and SFS infill; Abbey Wall, a £5,000,000 residential scheme with drylining, external facades and loadbearing SFS; and Kings Library, a £1,500,000 residential project with drylining. The business also completed work at Hertford Theatre (£925,000) and a commercial project valued at £1,600,000.
The business manufactures and installs drylining using products from British Gypsum, Siniat and Knauf. For loadbearing SFS, RJB works with manufacturers from design through to installation. External rendering is applied to commercial, residential and specialist buildings. Work begins with understanding client needs and transparent planning. The business conducts checks at each stage of projects. Curo Construction has worked with RJB since 2015 on multiple projects, and London Architectural Construction has adopted loadbearing SFS as its preferred construction method following work with the business.
