About Render Plus
Render Plus is an external rendering business based in Newcastle, providing rendering for homes, businesses and industry across the North East. Its website gives over 15 years of experience of rendering and says its insurance is up to date. Areas named include Tyne and Wear, covering Newcastle upon Tyne, North Shields, South Shields, Whitley Bay, Sunderland and Washington, and County Durham, covering Durham and Consett.
The renders offered are coloured render, brick effect render, monocouche (scratch render), insulated render with external wall insulation, and acrylic or silicone render. Brick effect render has two coats, a base coat and a coloured wet top coat, and replicates the look of traditional brickwork. Coloured render has a final decorative coat that is coloured throughout. Monocouche is described as hard wearing, with a high level of vapour permeability.
Rendering is used where there are problems such as broken brickwork, cracked render, penetrating damp or outdated pebbledash. The chosen render is applied across the surface of the existing walls, followed by the chosen texture or pattern.
