About Prince Plastering
Prince Plastering provides plastering and building conservation services throughout East Anglia, with a focus on traditional lime plastering and timber frame repairs. It works on period properties, renovation projects and new builds, and describes a passion for conserving and restoring old properties using traditional crafts and skills, with materials chosen for a low environmental impact and the breathability of the home.
Its plastering covers internal and external work, from traditional lime plastering to modern gypsum. Services include lime rendering, cement render removal, internal lime plastering, lath and plaster, three coat plastering and gypsum skimming, on substrates such as laths, Savolit, wood wool, cork insulation, plasterboard and brickwork. It also carries out traditional timber framing, including timber frame repairs to Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings, and sole plate repairs and replacements.
Building restoration and retrofitting work uses breathable lime plasters and mortars, hemp and clay plasters, cork insulation boards and wood fibre boards. Recent projects shown include a Norfolk farmhouse with internal lime plastering, a four bedroom Norfolk new build, and timber frame work to a Grade II listed house in Suffolk.
