About MP Plastering Ltd
MP Plastering Ltd is a specialist rendering company based in Highbridge, Somerset. Founded in 2000 by Mark Pickthall and limited in 2010, the business applies sprayed renders and external wall insulation to new and existing buildings across the Southwest. Work ranges from single projects for homeowners to new-build contracts for building firms.
Through colour render is applied by hand or spray machine to a variety of textures and colours. On existing buildings of stone, brick or smooth concrete, walls are first treated with a biocidal anti-fungal wash, then a key coat is applied for even suction. Fabric reinforcing mesh is recommended at stress points such as above and below window and door openings, overlapped by 100mm to reduce cracking risk. The render provides a weather resistant, breathable finish suitable for most substrates.
MP Plastering Ltd covers Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon, Dorset and Gloucestershire. The business is approved by Weber, Ecorend, Parex and KRend, and holds BBA and Green Deal approval for external wall insulation across the United Kingdom. It is certified by SMAS, CHAS, Greenlight and CQMS. The firm holds two NHBC Pride in the Job awards. Jobs come with written specifications and a manufacturer's 10 year warranty. All team members receive ongoing training in health and safety.
