About Measure Twice Construction
Measure Twice Construction is a building company based in Dorchester. It carries out general building work, extensions, renovations, new builds, kitchen and bathroom installations, plastering, painting and decorating, tiling and flooring, and landscaping. The business also offers cork rendering, a natural and breathable coating made from sustainably harvested cork that provides thermal insulation, moisture resistance and crack-resistant flexibility.
The company works across Dorchester, Weymouth, Bridport, Beaminster and surrounding areas of Dorset. Jobs start with a visit to discuss the project and understand what the client needs. Plastering work includes skimming and finishing to leave surfaces smooth and robust. Painting and decorating cover interior and exterior work. Groundworks, structural works and repairs are also undertaken.
Measure Twice Construction has 10 years plastering and decorating experience. The team consists of builders, plasterers and decorators. The business is covered by full liability insurance and employees insurance, and team members hold CSCS health and safety cards. Recent projects include a four-bedroom property renovation, a full house extension and garage conversion, and a Weymouth property renovation that removed a chimney and opened up the ground floor by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room.
