About Matthew Greig Rendering
Matthew Greig Rendering is a rendering business based in Bexley, delivering external render systems for domestic and commercial properties across Kent, Sussex and South East London. The business specialises in silicone render, monocouche render and external wall insulation systems with silicone topcoats. Matthew Greig has over 20 years of hands-on rendering experience.
Silicone render contains silicone additives for flexibility, breathability and water resistance. It is available in hundreds of colours and multiple grain sizes from 1mm to 3mm, with colour built into the material. Monocouche render is a through-colour, cement-based render applied in one or two passes, available in scraped or textured finishes and natural tones such as white, cream, sand and grey. External wall insulation involves fixing insulation boards to external walls, then applying a reinforced basecoat and silicone render finish. Insulation types include EPS, mineral wool and phenolic boards.
The business covers a 20-mile radius from the midpoint between Orpington and Tunbridge Wells, including Orpington, Bromley, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Chislehurst, Swanley, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. All required scaffolding, towers, barriers and access equipment are arranged by the business and priced in the quotation. Work begins with a site survey, and a written quote follows. Matthew Greig Rendering operates in full compliance with UK Health and Safety regulations and provides risk assessments and method statements on request.
