About Lothian Plaster Ltd
Lothian Plaster is a plastering business based in Edinburgh, established in 2017 by Ben, who is NVQ level 2 certified and holds a CSCS skilled worker card. The business carries out wall stripping, plaster boarding, dry lining, plastering walls, skimming and re-skimming, rendering, Venetian plastering, and new ceiling and ceiling repairs for flats, homes and commercial properties.
The services listed include applying skim plaster to remove lumps and bumps from walls, attaching plasterboard to walls as an alternative to wet plastering, dry lining with insulation and vapour barriers using insulation-backed plasterboard, and rendering external walls. Venetian plasters create polished or marbled effects on walls. Ceiling work covers both lath and modern plasterboard ceilings, including repairs to ceilings damaged by water leaks. Walls are stripped of wallpaper, wood chip and paint, then prepared with screen tape and PVA before plastering begins.
Lothian Plaster covers Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife, and also works across Scotland. Ben has spent ten years mastering the craft since gaining his NVQ level 2 qualification in 2010. The business works on projects ranging from small jobs to large renovations alongside architects and for homeowners. Free quotes are available on request.
