About Leyton McDonald Plastering
Leyton McDonald Plastering, which trades as LM Plastering, is a Gateshead-based plastering service founded and run by Leyton McDonald. It works for homes and businesses across Gateshead, Tyneside and the wider North East, on residential and commercial projects, and states close to 40 years of combined professional experience. Most of its work comes through repeat customers and personal recommendations.
Its services include skimming over existing surfaces for paint-ready walls and ceilings, internal and external rendering, float and set (a two-coat system with a level base coat and a smooth finish), plasterboard fixing to walls with adhesive plaster, and full plasterboard installation for new partitions, ceilings and stud walls. It also offers patching and crack repairs finished to match the existing surface, media walls with a plasterboard framework, smooth plastered finishes and recessed alcoves, and damp-proof treatments and renders.
Jobs range from a minor patch repair to a full multi-room re-plaster, and the business says it protects floors and furniture and leaves the space tidy.
