About LD Plastering
LD Plastering is a plastering company based in the Rossendale valley, Lancashire, led by Lee Dolan. Lee has 25 years of trade experience and works with a team of plasterers across East Lancashire, including Rawtenstall, Haslingden, Bacup, Burnley, Padiham, Nelson, Colne, Accrington, Blackburn, Darwen and Clitheroe. He quotes each job personally and stays involved from start to finish.
Its services include plastering and skimming, which covers walls and ceilings, from a single room to a whole house, and full reskimming takes every surface in a room to one flat finish. Patch plastering and repairs deal with water damage, cracks and holes. Dry lining and flat ceilings include plasterboarding, tape and jointing, and flattening textured ceilings. Rendering and exterior plastering covers external render and repairs, while coving and cornice work includes matching original period profiles. Painting and decorating is also offered to finish new plaster.
For skimming, the business describes removing old wallpaper rather than skimming over it, stabilising and priming surfaces, setting beads at corners and finishing in two coats of plaster.
