About Kernow Plastering
Kernow Plastering is a Cornwall-based plastering company specialising in traditional lime plastering, modern skim finishes, external rendering and plasterboard systems. It covers the county from Penzance to Saltash, and works for homeowners, builders, architects and developers, from new builds in Truro to lime restoration on listed cottages in Padstow.
Internal plastering includes skimming over existing plaster and plasterboard, re-skimming Artex ceilings, hardwall and bonding undercoats, lime plastering on period properties, patch repairs, new-build first-fix and finish plastering, loft conversions and extensions, and bull-nosed corners and curved walls.
External rendering covers sand and cement render, lime rendering, silicone render systems, K-Rend and through-coloured renders, monocouche, external wall insulation, pebble dash and roughcast, and re-rendering and render repairs. Its dry lining service includes plasterboard installation, metal stud partitions, dry lining of solid walls, tape and jointing, insulated and acoustic plasterboard, ceilings and bulkheads.
The business states over 15 years of experience, with 30 years combined across its team. It has a particular focus on traditional lime techniques for period and listed buildings.
