About J C Plastering and Lime
J C Plastering and Lime is a plastering business based in Bideford. It carries out lime rendering, traditional plastering, cob plastering, rebuilds and restorations throughout North Devon, Barnstaple, Westward Ho, Great Torrington, Appledore, Instow, Braunton and surrounding areas. The business specialises in lime-based renders and plasters for older buildings, which allow breathability and accommodate subtle movements in solid wall constructions better than cement-rich or gypsum mixes.
Services include a three-coat lime system with two backing coats of aggregate and lime with horsehair or goats hair, lime putty rendering in a variety of colours and finishes, insulating ecocork, and cob plastering. The business is run by Jeremy Clarke. J C Plastering and Lime holds an NVQ level 2 in plastering and is fully insured with £5 million public and employer's liability cover. All staff are fully qualified and the business operates to modern governed standards. Free quotes are available for plastering projects in the area.
