About I W Plastering
I.W. Plastering is a local, family run plastering business based in Oldham, serving Greater Manchester. It was founded by Ian Watson in 1998 and has traded in Oldham since, working in Oldham, Rochdale and the wider region. Ian works alongside his team, and word of mouth and repeat customers are described as the backbone of the business. It takes on domestic jobs of every size, from a single patch repair to a full house re-skim, as well as commercial and industrial plastering contracts.
Internal work covers skimming, plasterboarding and dry-lining, and floating out, where heavy-duty backing plaster is applied to bare brick or blockwork before the final skim. Ceiling work includes skimming and Artex removal, and patch and crack repairs cover damaged corners, holes and hairline cracks.
External rendering covers silicone, monocouche, K Rend and resin glitter finishes. The business also applies spray cork coatings and builds bespoke media walls, including feature walls with integrated fireplaces, shelving and lighting.
