About Higgins plastering
Higgins Plastering is a family business based in Burwell, Cambridgeshire, with a history of plastering that its website dates to around 1900 and describes as spanning five generations. It works across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk, on projects from residential plastering to large-scale commercial work, and describes hundreds of projects completed.
Its services include lime render, external rendering, pargetry, floor screeding, plasterboarding, and skimming over plasterboard, solid backing coats, textured ceilings and existing surfaces. It also offers silicone render and external wall insulation.
The business runs cornices in situ to repair or replace traditional cornices or to create custom designs, and also fits coving and bought-in cornice. It customises rooms by converting external corners into features, and designs and creates bespoke arches to a customer's specifications.
