About Hickman Plastering
Hickman Plastering is a plastering business based in West Bromwich covering Birmingham and nearby areas of the West Midlands. The business carries out skimming, replastering, plaster repairs, ceiling plastering, wall plastering, patch repairs, boarding and skimming, artex covering, room renovations, landlord refresh work and small commercial plastering for shops, offices and clinics.
Jobs range from single room skims to full wall and ceiling replastering, repairs to blown plaster and water damage, and patching of cracks and damaged corners. Typical work includes rooms with rough plaster or new plasterboard, older properties with damaged plaster, textured ceilings, loft conversions and extensions, and rental properties being prepared for reletting. The business also covers artex removal and small fit-outs for business premises.
Work begins with a visit to look at the surface and discuss what needs doing. Dust sheets are laid down before plastering starts, and surfaces are cleaned up before the plasterer leaves. Two-coat skim finishes are applied for smooth results, with bead work around corners and edges. Walls and ceilings are left smooth and ready for decorating.
Hickman Plastering covers Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Harborne, Edgbaston, Moseley, Kings Heath, Selly Oak, Northfield, Bearwood, Smethwick, Oldbury, West Bromwich, Walsall, Dudley, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Redditch and Tamworth. The business is fully insured and provides free written quotes with clear pricing.
