About GMC Plastering
GMC Plastering is a plastering business based in Bedford. It specialises in traditional lime plastering and heritage restoration, and also offers gypsum and modern plaster finishes. The services listed are lime plastering for internal and external walls, roughcast and traditional pebbledash, period property restoration, lath and lime repairs, breathable heritage render systems, drylining, wall repairs, microcement kitchen worktops, and wattle and daub repairs and reinstatement.
The business covers Bedford, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire and the South East. GMC Plastering works for homeowners of period and heritage properties and for anyone seeking plaster or gypsum finishes. Jobs include three-coat lime render systems on solid walls, lime plastering between traditional timber ceiling beams, and conservation-led lime plaster repairs for listed buildings carried out in line with historic building requirements. Surfaces are prepared and repaired before plaster is applied, and the business uses authentic, period-appropriate materials including lime, clay and straw for older buildings. Microcement finishes are also applied to kitchen worktops as waterproof surfaces. The business describes its approach as time-served workmanship with clear pricing and site practice that is clean and organised.
