About GFM Plastering Contractors
GFM Plastering Contractors is a plastering and rendering business in Nottingham run by a skilled tradesperson with over 15 years of hands-on experience. The business carries out internal plastering, plaster skimming, ceiling and wall repairs, external rendering, new build plastering, damp and damage repair work, pebble dash removal and re-rendering, plasterboard and drylining installation, and render crack repairs. Coloured, monocouche and insulated render systems are available.
The business covers Nottingham, Beeston, Carlton, West Bridgford and surrounding areas of Nottinghamshire. Work begins with a site survey to inspect the property, check for signs of damp or movement and discuss preferred finishes. A detailed written quote then follows, covering preparation, materials and timescales. Surfaces are prepared correctly before work starts. Floors and furniture are protected, and everything is cleaned down at the end. Internal work leaves surfaces smooth and ready for painting or wallpapering. External rendering is applied for a clean, weather-resistant finish. Each stage of the work is explained as the job progresses.
The business works for domestic and commercial customers on projects ranging from single room updates to full property refurbishments and new builds. Damaged plaster is identified and weak material is removed before the area is rebuilt and skimmed to blend into surrounding walls or ceilings. Appointments are kept and properties are treated with respect. Modern materials are used for internal and external finishes.
