About Fine Art Plasterwork
Fine Art Plasterwork is a family-run plasterwork business based in London, now employing the third generation. It manufactures and installs decorative plaster mouldings for residential and commercial properties, from single ceiling roses to large-scale projects. The business has been trading for over 40 years and specialises in historical site restorations, contemporary plaster cornicing, and recreating original plaster features.
Services include ceiling domes, ceiling roses and bespoke sculpturing for homes. Commercial work covers office developments, heritage sites and historic buildings, with projects including Windsor Castle, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Oxford University's Bodleian Library. Fine Art Plasterwork also restores original lime plaster and modern fibrous mouldings, repairs and replaces exterior decorative mouldings, and manufactures moulds and models in its London workshop to produce reproduction and bespoke hand-crafted mouldings.
All products are hand-made in the London workshop using traditional and modern techniques. The business can supply stock mouldings off the shelf or recreate bespoke pieces by reproducing an actual sample or working from drawings of the original design. Surfaces are prepared and method and risk assessments are completed for commercial work. The business covers London and the south, including Surrey, Kent and Middlesex. It works directly with homeowners, builders, architects and main contractors. The workforce is CSCS-accredited and the business holds product insurance.
