About D T Symons Plastering Services
D T Symons Plastering Services is a family-run business based in Taunton, Somerset, providing a range of plastering services. The website says the business protects furnishings and uses its own equipment to clean up when a job is finished, and that 99% of its work comes from word of mouth.
The services listed are skimming, rendering, Artex and Artex covering, dry lining, partitioning, plasterboard, plaster repair, coving and feature walls. Skimming is offered as a two-coat service ready for painting or papering. Rendering is offered inside and out and is applied in two layers, with the second rubbed down to complete the surface. Dry lining secures plasterboard with screws on timber or adhesive on masonry, and can be taped and jointed or skim coated. Plaster repair covers wall and ceiling cracks, blown plaster, water damage and ceiling replacement. Feature walls can be curved, angled, aged or distressed.
