About D&C Roughcasting Glasgow
D&C Roughcasting is a small business based in Glasgow providing roughcasting, wetcast, monocouche rendering and roofline services across Glasgow and further afield. Del and Chris met as apprentices and worked in the new build and private sector before partnering together. With 40 years combined experience, they now cover all of Glasgow and beyond, working with clients on an individual basis to ensure the correct systems are used.
The business carries out roughcasting to protect homes from harsh weather and give a clean, uniform appearance. Wetcast is offered as a traditional rendering method with customisable textures and finishes. Monocouche rendering is a modern, through-coloured system with built-in colour. Roofline services include installation and replacement of fascias, soffits and guttering systems to prevent water damage and improve drainage.
Jobs start with a visit to measure and assess the property. Existing roughcast is removed and surfaces are prepared with SBR glue, base and mesh systems before the topcoat is applied. Colour samples are provided so clients can choose their preferred finish. The team cleans up every day and leaves work areas tidy. D&C Roughcasting provides free quotes and spends time discussing different options with each client to suit their specific needs.
