About Backs Plaster Mouldings
Backs Plaster Mouldings is a plaster mouldings business based in Rochester. It designs, manufactures, restores and installs handmade plaster mouldings in its workshops using methods that are over a century old. The products listed are ceiling roses, cornices and coving, dado rails, fire surrounds, arches, pilasters and columns for interior and exterior use.
The business can copy and reproduce existing historic mouldings for replacement in renovations or additions, and it matches existing projects from Grade 2 listed buildings to modern architecture. Any catalogue plaster coving can be produced to any curve. Fire surrounds are made from plaster that meets Class 0 fire rating and the fire propagation requirements of BS476 Part 6, suitable for log burners and open fires. Columns, pilasters and pedestals are designed and manufactured as non weight bearing pieces. Backs Plaster Mouldings supplies direct or through a dealer network and offers a free estimate on any products.
