About ABODE PLASTERING
Abode Plastering is a plastering and rendering business based in Ludlow, Shropshire, run by Ian Davies. Ian is City & Guilds trained and has worked in the trade since completing his training in 2008, with over 15 years of experience. He specialises almost exclusively in domestic projects and works in Ludlow and the surrounding South Shropshire and North Herefordshire towns, including Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Tenbury Wells and Cleobury Mortimer.
Internal plastering covers skimming, boarding and partitioning, using the British Gypsum two-coat method. Exterior rendering covers K-Rend and silicone systems. The business also installs Baumit external wall insulation systems, finished with silicone render. Repairs and restoration cover water damage, ceiling leaks, blown plaster, external render patches and damp damage, and Artex can be dealt with by skimming, overboarding or removal.
Estimates can be requested through an online form, where customers upload photos of the room or wall, rough measurements and their location. The website also says floor protection is used and the workspace is cleaned at the end of each day.
