About ABeeton Plastering
ABeeton Plastering is an independent plastering business serving Cambridge, run by a plasterer who established it in 2015 and has over 30 years of hands-on experience. It works mainly on domestic properties in the city, and the website gives opening hours of Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, and Saturday and Sunday, 09:00 to 18:00.
The services listed are dry lining, dry walling, dot dabbing, skimming, over-skimming Artex ceilings, rendering and the installation of decorative mouldings. Dry lining and dry walling cover installing plasterboard and creating divisions or plasterboard walls through to finishing. Dot dabbing secures plasterboard to walls as a base for later finishes. Skimming applies a layer of plaster to walls and ceilings to smooth out imperfections, and over-skimming Artex ceilings turns textured ceilings into smooth ones. Rendering is applied to exteriors as a protective and decorative coat.
The website also describes wall patching, from small flaws to larger repairs, and offers a free quote.
