About A.Nicholls Plastering
A.Nicholls Plastering is a Bedfordshire company based in Potton, serving Potton, Biggleswade, Sandy and surrounding areas. It has over 25 years of experience and covers Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, for both domestic and commercial projects.
The work runs from small patch repairs to full renovations and new builds. The services listed are skimming on new boards, over artex ceilings and over old walls, plasterboarding with tacking and metal frame ceilings and walls, floor screeding, float and set, dry lining, and rendering in sand and cement and monocouche. Venetian plastering is also offered.
The website explains float and set as a traditional two-coat method, in which a base coat levels uneven surfaces and a finishing coat gives a smooth surface ready for decorating. Skimming is described as applying finishing plaster over existing walls or ceilings, commonly used to cover old artex or repair damaged plaster. The business also describes general plastering works for domestic and commercial clients. Free quotations are available.
